The Spa Attendant's role is to ensure that the spa facility exceeds guest expectation for cleanliness and is properly stocked with all amenities. The Spa Attendant will be aware of guest appointments and flow of business so they can be proactive in cleaning and the clearing of the locker rooms, relaxation area and hydrotherapy area after every use. The Spa Attendant will primarily service the MALE LOCKER ROOMS.
Serve as consistent point of contact for Rein Bar. Courteously greets and escorts guests to assigned tables and assist in seating, ensuring existing standards of service. Answering phone calls as necessary with the highest level of professional language in a calm, clear and concise manner. Make, change and maintain restaurant reservations as necessary
Performs professional massage therapy and body treatments for guests and members per Rancho Valencia protocol. The Massage Therapist must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in Rancho Valencia’s specific menu of spa treatments. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness programs personalized to each of our guests. Must possess and keep current certification from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC).
Performs professional nail, hand and foot services in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with Rancho Valencia protocol and California State Board requirements. Provide uncompromised attention to guest/member service. Must possess a thorough knowledge of hand and foot massage techniques and neat application of polish including French manicures and Shellac. Must possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in Rancho Valencia’s specific menu of treatments. Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide nailcare programs personalized to each of our guests. Must hold and maintain a current California state license.
Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains machines, equipment, plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems. A maintenance technician keeps all structures in working order through maintenance and repairs. Some duties include pipe fitting, insulating, boiler making, welding, carpentry, machining, repairing electrical or mechanical equipment, installing new equipment, and repairing walls, floors and stairs.

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest room's interior and exterior including patios, entrance areas and kitchens. Other responsibilities include deep cleaning and performing special projects. Room Attendants contribute to the resort commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork.
The Cafeteria Cook is responsible for preparing and planning for breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Maintains established quality standards. Knows assigned menus. Is flexible and willing to perform any task to better service. Openly accepts and positively responds to changing environment. Practice cooperation and work effectively with others. Must have weekend availability.
The pool attendant’s primary role is to engage with pool guests in order to ensure the guest has all needed amenities and supplies. While tending to guests, the Attendant is also responsible for the set up and tidiness o the pool at all times throughout the shift. This requires maintaining a pristine level of cleanliness and organization in the following areas; Spa pool, Resort pool, Cabanas, lounge chairs, restrooms and pool locker rooms. The attendant also provides water, clean towels; refreshing spritz and delivers daily amenities to guests throughout the day.
The Houseperson is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest rooms interior and exterior including guest patios, entrance areas for both the resort and the villas, linen closets, stairwells, walkways, pathways, trash rooms. Other responsibilities include deep cleaning, handling guest’s requests stocking and removing linen, pressure washing, shampooing carpets, floor care and performing special projects. Houseperson contributes to the resort and villas commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork. AM and PM Houseperson
Courteously, enthusiastically, and efficiently takes orders, prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and meals to guests in accordance with existing steps of service. Assist in maintenance of pool area’s and equipment. Greet guests and refresh guest towels, amenities as necessary. Maintain and improve check averages to ensure the financial success of the operation.
Steward is responsible for washing and cleaning glass, China, silver, pots, pans and cooking equipment by machine and hand. Keeps the dish/pot washing area and equipment clean and organized. Additionally cares for and minimize breakage of all such equipment and completes any cleaning projects as advised by the Chef. The position is to support the kitchen during the dinner service, availability from 2pm to close.
To provide tennis clinics and other assigned activities for 5 to 12 years old tennis camp guests. The person in this role is an expert in the game, is qualified to teach and coach and is always engaging with the guest and member. The tennis staffs are responsible for contributing to the overall tennis experience as well as being an active participant in the overall property goals of offering a unique and outstanding guest and member experience.
The Turndown attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of the guest rooms (interior and exterior including guest patios, entrance areas and kitchens). Turndown shifts are the afternoon shifts into evening. Other responsibilities include deep cleaning and performing special projects. Turn down attendants contribute to the resorts commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork.
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and planning for lunch and dinner items. Maintains established quality standards. Knows all menus and be able to assist other employees. Is flexible and willing to perform any task to better service. Is a pace setter, motivates team members and participates actively on developing work systems to increase quality and efficiency. This position is solely in the PM from 2pm to 10:30pm
