Now hiring for an Assistant Director of Maintenance. We are looking for capable and highly-motivated maintenance professionals who take great pride in their work and a job well done. This person must be able to be customer-service oriented and respond to all assigned tasks properly and with a positive attitude. The candidate is responsible for the general upkeep and repair of the hotel properly, and assisting the Director of Maintenance in managing a staff of technicians.They ensure that all facets of the location are in safe working order. To be part of the team, you should enjoy providing excellent customer service as well as working in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands on position, it is not a desk position assigning work. Job duties to include, but are not limited to the following items: -Promptly responds to front desk reports of guest problems or concerns, informs the front desk when work order is complete. -Perform preventative maintenance, assign work to techs, oversee repairs, or make recommendations for repairs, as assigned: all mechanical/electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems all building components and furniture, fixtures, and equipment. -Perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, emergency carpet cleaning and other jobs as necessary. -Maintain all storage areas, shops, and mechanical areas in a clean, safe and secure manner. FRONT DESK RESERVATIONIST Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay by working with all hotel personnel to ensure every guest experiences superior customer care. Responsibilities include registering guests, assigning rooms, accommodating special requests, and ensuring the guests have a pleasant stay and smooth checkout. Job Duties: Will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments for the hotel. Must possess a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary. Knows cancellation procedures. Knows room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates. Registers arriving guests and assigns rooms. Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms. Coordinates guest room maintenance work with the engineering and maintenance division. Uses persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel. Reports any unusual occurrences or requests in a timely manner to the manager or assistant manager. Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Processes guest check-outs and handles monetary transactions. Maintains customers' privacy. Maintains a high level of professional appearance and demeanor. Supply guests with directions and information regarding any local areas of interest, as well as property amenities, services, and hours of operation.

Experienced Maintenance Technician Must have at least 2+ years in a hotel setting. Must have basic knowledge of plumbing (toilets, faucets) electrical (changing fixtures, rewiring cords) changing out AC units, door locks and making keys. Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Shift varies, days and nights, weekends and holidays required. Forward work history for consideration.
