Compensation: $95,000 to $105,000 (depending on experience), Control Remoto Híbrido, Tiempo Completo

Exciting opportunity with established hotel management company with dynamic growth in the immediate future. Aperture Hotels currently has a management portfolio of 23 hotels including Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Hotel Indigo, Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn and Suites, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Home2, and several independent properties.

This position will work with the Senior Vice President to develop the Accounting Department into a standardized, efficient, and scalable team which will assist Aperture Hotels in meeting its aggressive growth goals. Our preferred candidate will be someone who can complete the accounting tasks for a property as well as perform the duties needed in a hospitality accounting corporate office environment: onboarding new properties, managing people, implementing projects, coordinating meetings, training, writing support documentation, finding efficiencies, administering systems, and meeting deadlines.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Property and Corporate Accounting
  • Managing a corporate accounting team
  • Reviewing Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Writing SOPs and Training Documentation
  • Onboarding/Offboarding Properties
  • Training new Team Members
  • Facilitating Systems Change
  • Maintaining strong Asset Manager/Owner Relations
  • Administering Accounting-related Systems
  • Maintaining Jurisdictional Reporting (Taxes, Licenses, Permits, FinCEN)
  • Standard Operating Procedure adherence
  • Adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation based on education and experience.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in hotel accounting preferred.
  • Experience in a hotel accounting corporate environment is a plus.
  • Experience in managing a team.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5%+ of time.
  • M3 Accounting or similar hospitality accounting system experience.

  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.

Computer skills required include:

Elevated level of proficiency with Microsoft Office to include Word, Outlook, and advanced level of proficiency in Excel.
