This is your chance to be a part of an in-house Technology team that’s creating consumer-facing, modern technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry around the world! As a Senior Software Analyst,you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. On the Core & Distribution team reporting to the Senior Manager Platform Architect, you will onboard third-party distribution partners and support projects including automation and new functionality.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Guide consumers in properly using Hilton’s API platform, through the governance process and solve issues and observations reported by internal and external customers.
  • Review and update content for Developer Portal and other tools and job aids to provide process and technical reference information to API consumers.
  • Manage and update Configuration settings, collaboratively work with ServiceNow team to implement best workflow solutions.
  • Create, update, and manage API Enablement process documents.
  • Troubleshoot and help to resolve technical issues by using Splunk Health Check.
  • Involved in design and architecture of special projects.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Partner with requestors, build teams, security, and other stakeholders to guide consumers through successfully connecting to Hilton’s APIs.
  • Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot production issues.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders, internal teams, and other Technology teams to connect multiple teams to Hilton’s APIs.
  • Perform independent research to problem solve using different tools (critical analysis).

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Experience with advanced software analysis, including APIs, build and/ or production support
  • Experience with writing basic database queries, with a preference for SQL or Splunk
  • Experience with REST APIs, including Postman, and JSON & XML data formats
  • Working knowledge of managing ticket queues or project progress in a CRM or other functional systems
  • Travel up to 10%

It would be useful if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience 
  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Experience working with virtual distributed teams
  • Strong hospitality experience
  • Atlassian stack experience
