Essential Functions

• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude toward all external and internal customers at all times.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Participate in interviewing and selecting new team members and train and develop team members.
• Issue disciplinary action as needed.
• Assign work to team members and monitor for timely and proper completion.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Produce and deliver reports as needed.
• Review housekeeping and maintenance activities with Facilities Manager.
• Respond to calls promptly and professionally.
• Have complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities.
• Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure the safety and security of all customers and team members.
• Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
• Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least two years of experience in maintenance and/or environmental services of a large facility or plant operations is required.
• Must obtain Missouri Gaming Commission occupational license.
• Familiarity with applicable OSHA regulations.
• Working knowledge of building systems, tools, and maintenance and housekeeping equipment.
• Appropriate use of personal computers, telephones with voice mail system, fax and copy machines, and two-way radios.
• Must be able to work any assigned shift, including late nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Read, write, and understand complex instructions and technical information.
• Communicate appropriately with all casino customers, casino departments, and fellow team members.
• Understand and adhere to all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations and any other applicable federal, state, and/or local regulations.
• Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures.
