House Attendant

The housekeeping attendants must be able to take direction well. They will have the responsibility for maintaining their assigned floors to the highest standards of cleanliness including corridors, stairwells, and elevator landings; assisting room attendants on their floors; stocking and organizing the supplies and amenities pantry closet and removing garbage from the floor. Previous experience as a house person in a luxury hotel environment is necessary; and the ability to bend and stand and lift heavy items as necessary is essential in this role.   

Requirements: 

Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience as a floor houseman

Experience from a luxury hotel housekeeping environment is preferred

Previous attendant, house person, janitor, or related field of work is beneficial

Knowledge of bonneting/extraction process, carpet shampoo, floor buffering is valuable

Must have the ability to interact with guests in a courteous and efficient manner

Possess an eye for detail and high standards of cleanliness

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills needed

Verbal, reading and writing skills are required
