The Secretary handles the daily office routine such as answering telephone calls, translating documents, handling in-and-out going correspondence, maintaining a systematic filing system, etc. 

What will I be doing? 

As the Secretary, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

  • Translate Chinese documents and correspondences for the Commercial department. 
  • Maintain a systematic filing system for all contracts, agreements, etc. 
  • Maintain updated employment records of all local staff within the Commercial department. 
  • Handle in-and-out going correspondence. 
  • Answer the phones and pass on messages within the Commercial Department. 
  • Assist in the preparation of reports required. 
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the Commercial Director. 
  • Assist with duty rosters, leave applications and all data concerning the Commercial department. 
  • Assist in purchase stock / inventory according to purchasing procedures and specifications. 

    Requirements

    What are we looking for? 

    A Secretary serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

  • High School education. 
  • Proficient in the English language and good Chinese and English translation skills to meet business needs. 
  • Well versed in the use of computer systems. 
  • Good typing skills. 
  • Able to take dictation and meeting minutes.

    Our hotel is within four kilometers of Beijing’s Financial Street district and attractions including the Capital Museum, Tianning Temple, and the National Theater of China.
