Job PurposeTwo to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job | |
Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate guest. Assist in serving food as required. | |
Job ResponsibilitiesMaximum of ten responsibilities, in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that does not represent at least 10% of the job’s time. Please include supervisory responsibilities. | |
1. | Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate guest table. |
2. | Review order before delivery to ensure accuracy. |
3. | Perform side duties as required. |
4. | Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, current promotions and daily specials. |
5. | Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and kitchen areas. |
6. | Adhere to all policies and procedures including HACCP, OSHA and sanitation guidelines. |
7. | Perform other duties as assigned. |
Job QualificationsDescribe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities. | |
Education | High school diploma or equivalent preferred. |
Experience | Good communication skills required. Six months customer service experience preferred. |
Licenses/Certifications | Food Handler’s Certification and Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) card may be required. |
