Spa Supervisor

Job Summary

As a Spa Supervisor you’ll be responsible for supervising and supporting the day to day activities of the spa and fitness center while ensuring guests receive a soothing world-class spa experience.

Qualifications

• Two (2)years of previous supervisory experience required experience in a Spa atmosphere preferred
• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines with particular attention to detail and excellence in guest service
• Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with guests using a positive clear speaking voice both in person and over the phone
• Ability to observe performance and detect signs of emergency situations and respond with proper action
• Ability to participate in the creation of an enjoyable work environment
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and staff some of whom will require high levels of patience tact and diplomacy
• Must be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings and weekends

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting in scheduling employees and assigning work to ensure proper coverage
• Ensuring that all team members are properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively perform their jobs
• Performing opening and closing duties
• Assisting with scheduling spa appointments and services
• Assisting with ongoing training of the Rock Spa team
• Maintaining a neat and clean work environment
• Interacting with guests in a professional and service oriented manner
• Answering questions about available services general property information and amenities of the spa fitness center and property
• Promoting and selling spa services and retail products
• Resolving guest complaints and communicating with the Spa Director regarding the issue and resolution in a timely manner
• Monitoring supply of guest amenities and supplies and completing purchase orders as appropriate
• Maintaining an up to date working knowledge of all spa services packages promotions and retail products offered
