Surveillance Agent I

Position Summary:

Under the supervisor of the Shift Supervisor, the Surveillance Agent I will be responsible for observing, monitoring, and documenting all activity occurring on Casino Property. The Surveillance Agent will document observations in writing as well. This position gives the candidate 6 months to one year to prepare with training provided for a certification process for promotion to Surveillance Agent level II with the Surveillance Department.

Note: Native American preference will be given. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Documents and Records events in Table Games, Slots, Cage, Soft Count, and must have working knowledge of credit procedures, cash transactions, company
• procedures and regulations.
• Performs duties in compliance with company standards and Gaming Regulations.
• Responsible for disclosing irregularities, variances, from procedures etc.
• observed during the performance of duties to the Shift Supervisor.
• Multi-tasking and great communication skills.
• Follow Standard and Procedures as required to monitoring and protecting the
• assets of the casino.
• Assisting with process of investigations (individually, and with a team).
• Usage of all Surveillance Equipment.
• Conduct reviews and transfer incidents to a separate composite.
• Report any procedure violation or irregularities observed, and provide protection of the assets in the Casino.
• Document, recording, and maintaining records of all daily activities.
• Must maintain thorough knowledge of Table Games, Cage, Slot, Food and Beverage- Policies and Procedures.
• Usage of Two-Way radio and equipment.
• Must adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of all asset-handling procedures including Count Room and Cage Operations is Mandatory.
• Train and prepare for mandatory Certification to maintain position within the Surveillance Department.

Experience and Education:

• Prefer prior Indian Gaming experience or equivalent experience to the position for a
• minimum of one-year.
• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.) is required.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods. The employee occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will be requiredt otalk for extended periods and must be able to hear and understand.

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds. The work environment includes a variety of setting the following: food, oils, and cooking surfaces. The incumbent occasionally exposed to loud noise, change in temperatures, and second-hand smoke.

Work Environment :

Work is generally performed in a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Due to the nature and scope of this position, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours and irregular shifts will be required.
