The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.

• Assist with maintaining hotel guest rooms, meeting space, public/back of house areas, performing minor and routine maintenance activities as assigned on a routine checklist
• Maintain standards of quality guest service
• Scrupulously adhere to all safety standards
• Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development
• Prompt response to and resolve of guest request, complaints or questions in a courteous and timely manner
• Assist in logging and tracking all performed maintenance assignments with supervisors
• Attend all required meetings
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates and vendors

• Ability to accurately report information
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures
• Able to complete projects/assignments thoroughly, professionally and with care
• Able to adjust to high-pressure conditions and is open to change
• Can assume responsibility for personal growth and development
• Conducts him/herself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates
• Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission
• Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively and professionally
• Actively listens to others
• Can convey company information, decision or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis
• Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers
• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions
• Must have a Missouri Class E drivers license
• Must have knowledge of applicable Federal, state and local health, safety and legal regulations
• Must have good mathematical and computer skills
• High school education and relevant training and experience preferred
• CPR and first aid training preferred
• Additional language ability preferred

Physical Demands

• Minimum lifting/pulling of 50 pounds

• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity
• Hearing, wring, typing

Must be at least 18 years of age
