Join our team! We have an immediate openings for individuals who are committed to elevating the member and guest experience to fill the position of Full-Time Marketing Manager for the Los Angeles Athletics Club and the Aster

Job Summary:

This position contributes to the success of Crescent Hotels & Resorts (“Company”) by working to ideate, implement and execute the marketing plan for all marketing channels, working with Property teams and marketing agencies to ensure premier positioning for assigned hotel(s). This is a property-based or corporate office-based position at Los Angeles Athletic Club that supports two or more properties. Determine and implement strategies to achieve this through market and current consumer knowledge as well as future target audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with property teams to deploy successful marketing plans from ideation to execution
  • Create and execute strategies and tactics to boost each property’s reputation and drive qualified traffic
  • Manage Website, Social, Email and Paid Media agencies to plan and execute new content that is aligned with brand standards and business needs.
  • Design and deploy email marketing campaigns to target property business objectives
  • Manage PR agencies to create 12-month plans of target publications and markets and managing output
  • Act as liaison between properties and creative agencies to ensure properties have access to collateral pieces and in line with brand standards
  • Create and manage presentation materials such as branded decks and memos
  • Coordinate with peers to develop and execute promotions, activations and strategic partnerships
  • Manage photoshoots/productions and maintain proper organization of all visual assets
  • Own and ensure brand guidelines are being followed, including proofing and editing copywriting as needed
  • Lead and inform creative design on B2B and B2C facing touchpoints with alignment of brand standards
  • Report on marketing KPIs for weekly and monthly communication to owners

AUTHORITY LEVEL

  • Budgets: Develops department expenses annually in-line with goals
  • Forecasts: Forecasts department expenses in-line with forecasted revenues or budget
  • Expenses: Inputs department expense up to approved amount set by Finance Department

EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Required: Minimum of five (2) years of experience in same or similar positions; social membership club experience preferred.
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ideal: Bachelor’s or Master’s College Degree in Hospitality Management or Marketing or similar field
  • Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required: At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Required: Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Required: Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing and completing assigned job tasks effectively.
  • Required: Travel (by vehicle and plane) for business, training, and/or development, including overnight trips.
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Required: Travel for business purposes, including overnight travel
  • Required: Computer Experience: proficient Microsoft Office programs, Outlook, and Canva or similar design system
  • Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey messages clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar.
  • Required: Strong presentation skills; convey messages clearly and confidently; persuade and effect change positively.
  • Required: Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervision
  • Required: High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Required: Strong organizational skills
  • Required: Ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently meet deadlines and produce work in a timely manner.
  • Required: Ability to elicit and accept constructive feedback.
  • Required: Knowledge of hospitality sales and marketing functions to include research, planning, market positioning, digital marketing and communications
  • Required: Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum, and social skills
  • Required: Professional appearance and adherence to dress code standards
  • Required: Ability to work well under deadline pressure

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, DEMANDS, AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical Exertion: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Pay: $75,000.00 Annual Salary
