Job Purpose
Responsible for preparing and maintaining all aspects of daily and weekly schedules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) year of scheduling clerk experience or equivalent experience.
- Strong computer skills to include: Word, Excel and scheduling software.
- Strong customer service and communications skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of casino department operations.
License Requirements
Rhode Island Department of Business Operations Gaming License
Essential Job Functions
- Meets with Shift Managers on a consistent basis to determine which table games will be opened or closed.
- Assists Scheduling Manager with vacation and days off bidding.
- Assists with paperwork for medical and personal leaves, new hires, transfers, terminations, salary increases and employee documentation
- Assists in record keeping of sick and late calls for departments.
- Performs data entry, typing and filing tasks.
- Answers phones, directs calls and takes accurate messages.
- Promotes positive employee relations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Lifting weights up to 30 lbs. working at a computer, strong math and computer skills.
