The Engineering Supervisor (Chargeman A4) inspects and assists in the regular maintenance of the Engineering department’s systems as well as execute maintenance requests from the systems. 

What will I be doing?  

As the Engineering Supervisor (Chargeman A4), you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

Ensure preventive and maintenance of electrical installations, troubleshoot electrical devices problems and ensure the equipment tools and measuring instruments are in good working conditions To attend meeting as and when in accordance to hotel requirements Is responsible for keeping accurate operating logs according to establish policy and procedures with Electrical Guidelines Is responsible for correct execution of established maintenance programmed for required sections. To be Cost and Energy conscious; manage and keep all records and data in control To identify daily Work Request, manage Preventive Maintenance plan and project Works are completed to Quality Standards. To Plan, Control Project Works and Complete Listing Checklist as and when required. To Plan for the daily Task, Trouble Shooting, Repairs and Modification required for Operation with superior on a daily basis To attend to Contractors, Suppliers and Consultants as and when required To follow up with Logs, Records, Contracts, and Licensing in accordance to Regulation and Procedures. To report to superior and log in all daily works in daily logbook. To Plan Preventive routine and Predictive Maintenance of all machinery and equipment (Electrical & Mechanical) Be in control and be accountable for Spare Parts Control and Request, Tools and  Appliance.                                                                                                            Must be able to handle all areas of M&E in relation to Hotel facilities and Operation. Daily updates on tasks and duties assigned. To assist other technical or section work challenges as and when required and instructed by superior  To have a complete understanding of all duties and adhere to the hotel’s policy with Positive Attitude. To work on a rotating shift as and when requested  To return all work place in order and maintain the cleanliness of all plant rooms and workshops. Work with suppliers to install, test run and commission of any new systems To ensure that all safety rules and regulations are complied with. 

         Any other ad hoc tasks required by the Superior 

Requirements

What are we looking for? 

An Engineering Supervisor (Chargeman A4) serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: 

At least 3 years of relevant working experience. 

Technical Secondary education on electric appliances, machines or equivalent. 

Knowledgeable of electrical appliances, air-conditioners, boilers, machines and pipelines, etc.  

Effectively communicate with your superior and staff. 

Team player who is honest and diligent with no unhealthy addictions. 

Healthy with no serious disease or physical defect which may affect the fulfilment of relevant works.  

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia to communicate with locals.
