Position Overview:

The Events & Conference Coordinator role is an entry level role for an individual that is detail orientated, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of luxury events while also contributing to our efforts to enhance the client experience and promote our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the events and catering team to plan and execute luxury events, ensuring every detail is meticulously coordinated to exceed guest expectations.
  • Handle data entry for Event Orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining precise records to uphold our commitment to luxury service.
  • Maintain menus in our sales & catering system, CITY.
  • Coordinate internal events that reflect the essence of luxury and elevate the employee experience within our esteemed establishment.
  • Contribute to OpenTable initiatives to drive reservations and showcase the luxury offerings of The Ballantyne.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of luxury event operations, ensuring flawless execution and impeccable service delivery.
  • Uphold a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the luxury standards of The Ballantyne in all aspects of the role.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook for effective communication and scheduling, facilitating seamless coordination of luxury events and marketing activities.

Qualifications:

Passion for luxury hospitality and a dedication to delivering unparalleled experiences for our guests.

Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and delight our discerning clientele.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for efficient communication and scheduling, essential for coordinating luxury events seamlessly.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required, ensuring the success of luxury events and marketing initiatives.

Previous experience in luxury event coordination, preferably within the hotel or hospitality industry preferred.

Familiarity with CITY preferred.
