The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg is an upscale hotel located across from the Woodfield Mall and just 15 minutes from O’Hare. The Hyatt Regency Schaumburg was recently renovated to satisfy a discerning clientele who share a common need for value without sacrifice.

An integral part of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg’s success will be attributed to this position with a hands on approach to guest satisfaction and service team stewardship that will dictate first and lasting impressions people have of the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg.

Ensure that all guests needs are consistently met or exceeded by maintaining all aspects of the food and beverage operation including; cleanliness, food and beverage quality, and meeting hotel service standards. Provide a reputation of prestigious service resulting in high satisfaction ratings, and increasing new and returning guests.

Establish objectives by professional leadership and administration, effective and fair personnel development. Maintaining the highest standards in the restaurant, outlets or banquets as assigned by F&B Manager resulting in increasing teamwork and morale. Reducing absenteeism and lowering employee turnover rates.

Maintaining budgetary guidelines by improving sales through service, up-selling, increasing return guests, keeping accurate records and inventories, and proper cash handling techniques that will minimize losses, and shortages resulting in decreasing costs, and increasing profitability.

In this role, you will be responsible to meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating then escort them to their table and present menu.  Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.

Requirements:

• Schedule flexibility is a must, as this leader will support all shifts of the food and beverage operation
• Have excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Hyatt brand experience is a plus
