M&M Hotel Group is a new venture tasked with the overall management of an institutional hotel portfolio initially consisting of over 3,000 rooms. Initial tasks include building and developing a team of professionals followed by the executive oversight of the corporate team and hotel operations.

The portfolio is owned through a private venture looking to create long term net worth appreciation through effective hospitality management.  Several of the assets are open and operating, while others are under construction and are scheduled to open in 2026 and 2027.  The assets are predominantly affiliated with Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt brands and operate within the upscale select service segment. The geographical location is predominantly within the New York metro area. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall management and operation of the corporate team, including direct oversight of each property and the individual general managers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing all corporate-level support and assisting each general manager in managing their overall property-level goals.
  • The SVP of Operations will focus on achieving the Owners' profit goals, maintaining above-average brand compliance scores and achievement of various other corporate metrics.
  • The initial two years of the job will likely require a special emphasis on pre-opening and property stabilization efforts.

  Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be a confident and collaborative senior leader with at least 5+ years of prior VPO experience and a proven track record of achieving exemplary results leading hotel operations, as well as skill sets to manage a broader corporate team.
  • The Senior Vice President of Operations must exemplify and champion a people focused Company culture. Ownership believes in a culture where all Team Members at the corporate and property levels are treated fairly and with respect.  Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a knack for developing and growing their Team so they can achieve their individual goals for growth and success.   
  • The SVP of Operations must be able to develop and manage to both long- and short-term plans, while preparing the organization for any challenges and opportunities that occur in the day-to-day operations.   
  • The selected candidate must understand the importance of hotel-specific performance and its impact on investor returns.
  • The individual will understand property-level cash management, including ownership distribution, payment of debt obligations, and management of AP/AR.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate throughout the organization, including ownership, management and hourly team members. 
  • The selected candidate must be a self-starter with a vision to grow and develop a high performing organization that is very team focused.  

Compensation & Benefits:

The Company will offer a competitive base salary between 190-250K commensurate with experience and performance incentives that adequately correlate to performance.
