Job Summary: Insure members have a very enjoyable dining experience by having a positive attitude, knowing the product, delivering top quality service, knowing and using the member’s names, exceeding the members’ expectations, and being a team player. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Training and Experience: Must have experience with luxury resorts, restaurant's and fast paced environment

Job Knowledge: Must know basic service steps (how to wait a table) and have a good understanding of beverages - alcoholic and nonalcoholic.

Duties and Functions

1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts as needed

2. Arrive to work on time, consistently.

3. Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.

4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.

5. Attend all required training, safety courses, office and departmental meetings.

6. Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.

7. Meet with Set Up Manager to review previous shift notes and day’s assignments.

8. Coordinate weekly with Set Up Manager, Conference Services Director, and Assistant.

9. Assign duties to Set-Up Attendants, insuring that A.M. functions are set. Assist as needed.

10. Thoroughly inspect all functions using the BEO and set-up checklist. Look for the details.

11. After A.M. functions are set, assist Set Up Manager in assigning duties for the remainder of the day.

12. Assist Set Up Attendants in physical set-up, cleaning and arranging of tables and equipment, according to the specified requirements.

13. Accept responsibility for and assist with “refreshing” of functions.

14. Responsible for receipt and issuance of any packages for Guests in the Conference and Catering Department.

15. Accountable for maintenance and proper storage of all banquet equipment.

16. Assisting Set Up with the orienting and training of newly hired Set Up Attendants; provide ongoing training for existing staff.

17. Responsible for the performance of all Set Up Attendants; advise Set Up of any performance problems.

18. Throughout the shift check all meeting rooms, breaks, and storage areas for proper service levels, neatness, cleanliness, and proper storage of equipment.

19. Assist Set Up Manager in coordinating night shift’s work assignments.

20. Monitor any breakage or damage to or loss of banquet equipment, furnishings, or rooms. Notify Set Up Manager.

21. Eliminate all safety hazards and report all injuries and accidents to the Set Up Manager or Conference Services Asst. or Director.

22. Follow and enforce all energy conservation and accident/loss prevention guidelines.

23. Courteously respond to all Guest requests; contact Set Up Manager or Conference Services Manager as needed.

24. Set up all group name stands for each and every function.

25. Perform all other duties that will assist in quality service as assignment by the Set Up Manager and Conference Services Coordinators.
