Overview
Under direct supervision of the C-Store Supervisor. Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers. Sells and services customers by utilizing knowledge of company products.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Six months of cash handling or customer service experience.
- Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
- Required to maintain a valid Driver’s License.
- Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
- Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.
- Applicants must be able to perform all essential functions of job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
JOB DUTIES:
- Processes retail sales and cash register transactions.
- Restocks shelves and maintains merchandise and visual display standards, ensuring a neat, clean and organized store at all times.
- Greets guests with a positive and friendly manner.
- Sells merchandise, suggests selections that meet the customer’s needs, advises customers on merchandise price and features.
- Operates cash register to conduct sales transactions, handles cash and makes change as requires.
- Displays merchandise in accordance with Hotel policies and procedures.
- Ensures that stock levels are maintained and displays are organized, clean, and visually appealing.
- Performs general floor maintenance and housekeeping.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch while performing duties.
- Use of hands to finger, handle, and feel.
- Use of hands and arms to reach and grab.
- Occasional requirement to lift or move upwards of 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work is general performed in a retail setting with a moderate noise level.
- Evening and/or weekend shifts may be required. Extended hours and irregular shifts may be required.
