Houseperson ensures the cleanliness of a hotel’s public areas, hallways, and lobby while supporting room attendants by delivering linens, collecting trash, and handling heavy cleaning tasks. They maintain guest comfort by responding to requests for extra amenities and ensuring all areas are stocked, sanitized, and well-maintained.

Requirements:

• Prior experience is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing the right person
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
• Experience with moving, storage, and care of equipment and furniture
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and proper use of cleaning supplies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 20 lbs and pushing up to 250 lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy. 
• Understand simple instructions.  
• Learn simple procedures and techniques. 
• Perform routine work or the same task over and over again. 
• Requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, seeing, feeling. 
• Complete a checklist of duties daily
