Key Responsibilities:
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables or serve customers seated at counters
- Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously
- Prepare and present itemized checks, process payments, and operate cash registers
- Check identification to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol service
- Set up and clear tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining area
- Assist with additional duties such as setting up tables, clearing dishes, and providing excellent guest service
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for handling payments and checks
- Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible service practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
- Strong oral communication skills and a customer/client-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
