SUMMARYResponsible for maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for the Guests in the Arcade, in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

MEETING PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION

  • Responsible for keeping all card dispensers filled for Arcade Guests.
  • Maintain a clean and neat Arcade room, by keeping surfaces of machines clean and clear and removing debris as needed.
  • Ensure attention to detail with all aspects of the Arcade floor and equipment.
  • Give basic instruction on machine play as requested by Guests.
  • Notify Service or Technical Manager of machine problems; perform minor repairs such as resetting of machines, etc.
  • Responsible for safeguarding and maintaining his/her bank and reporting any suspicious activity to Slot Management immediately.
  • Responsible for notifying Slot Technical Manager of any down machines, promptly placing out-oforder signs on them and reimbursing Guests as necessary any tokens lost.
  • Promote positive Guest Relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.
  • Present self in a professional manner both on and off property.
  • Maintain a regular and consistent attendance record.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Previous work experience preferred
  • Must be able to secure appropriate licensing from the gaming commission.

    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.
  • Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
  • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference.

    REASONING ABILITY

  • Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Talk and hear; ability to communicate effectively.
  • See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision.
  • Stand, walk, run, sit, (up to 8 hours) balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl.
  • Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.
  • The Associate must frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) lbs.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to:

  • A low-to-moderate noise level (offices).
  • A moderate-to-loud noise level (public areas).
  • While performing the duties of this job, the Associate regularly works near moving mechanical or electrical parts.

    SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.
  • Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
