What You’ll Do
  • Be the face of MCR for new hires and team members; exemplify MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR).
  • Supervise warehouse staff by assisting in the hiring, training, evaluating, on-boarding, coaching, rewarding, and scheduling of warehouse clerks.
  • Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and department efficiency.
  • Monitor and coach staff performance to ensure compliance with all phases of service, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Recommend and assist in team member evaluations and corrective action.
  • Respond to callout’s, adjust staffing to ensure appropriate coverage and managing staff time and attendance.
  • Ensure accuracy of all warehouse related procedural paperwork and data input.
  • Ensure the inspection of received goods for proper quantities and quality in accordance with MCR and department standard operating procedures and internal controls.
  • Verify MCR procedures are followed regarding the requisition system and issuance of food and beverage products from the warehouse to the outlets.
  • Coordinate with the Food & Beverage department in planning the monthly inventory of food and beverage goods.
  • Ensure that property and equipment is tagged and that disposals are tracked in accordance with MCR policy, procedure, and established regulations.
  • Secure credit from delivery personnel when discrepancies are discovered.
  • Maintain rotation of food and liquor items in the warehouse, coolers, and freezers according to established procedures.
  • Maintain accurate files of requisitions, purchase orders and price lists received to aid the Finance department.
  • Ensure the maintenance of secure, clean, and orderly warehouse and receiving areas.
  • Maintain a computerized perpetual inventory system for food and beverage items.
  • Report slow moving food and beverage items to both Finance and Food & Beverage management.
  • Receive equipment and supplies ordered by all departments.
  • Inspect received goods for proper quantities and visible damage.
  • Report damaged product and/or quality issues to requesting departments for their inspection and/or acceptance.
  • Transfer received goods to secure storage areas or directly to department personnel.
  • Prepare receiving records and inputs data into the computer system.
  • Reconcile invoices to the receiving log and the computer system.
  • Involved with the ordering, cleaning, issuance and return of team member uniforms.
  • Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive and safe work environment; promote positive team member relations and reports issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
  • Must have and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Three (3) years warehouse/receiving experience.
  • Supervisory/lead experience preferred.
