Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Must possess a current

Florida cosmetology, or Florida aesthetician license. Ability to speak, read, write, and

comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with

staff.

Training & Experience: Two years experience as an Aesthetician desired. CPR

training required, dual licensed a plus.

Job Knowledge: Must possess the skills required to use the equipment and special

product lines of the facial department. Proficient in all facets of proper skin care. Ability

to work in a busy area giving guests and members attentive and professional customer

service.

Job Summary: Perform aesthetic treatments on guests. Recommending, prescribing

and selling appropriate skin care products. Work in a safe manner and provide a safe and

clean working area.

Physical Abilities: Capable of giving treatments and moving around the

department, as well as all Spa facilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays.

2.Arrive to work on time, consistently. Clock in 15 minutes prior to shift or first scheduled appointment making sure area is set up and ready for business.

3.Upon entering the property, arrive in proper attire, crisp, clean and in good repair.

4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; sanitation and high standards of hygiene are required at all times, management has final approval.

5. Must be willing and able to promote, sell and educate about spa retail products. Also attend sales and product training as needed.

6. Get acquainted with and understand how to book all clients.

7. Attend all required training, safety courses; and mandatory meetings to include required seminars.

8. Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.

9.To analyze guest’s skin type and prescribe the type of treatment required.

10. Explain to guest the skin type and reasons for the prescribed treatment.

11. Must be able to administer all aesthetic services offered to members and guest.

12. Prepare equipment and supplies daily in a clean and safe manner.

13. Maintain the supplies and treatment area.

14. Stays updated on the latest developments pertinent to the department and become well-versed and trained in their usage.

15. Communicate frequently with the members and guests to ensure total satisfaction and to obtain feedback, following up on observations, suggestions and any complaints.

16. Aim for zero customer complaints at all times.

17. Learn and perform within the Club’s Safety Guidelines.

18. Become knowledgeable of all safety and sanitation standards appropriate to the performance of the job, adhere to state board guidelines.

19. Performs special projects delegated by the supervisor, director or team leader.

20. Maintains cleanliness and neatness of the facility, and work area at all times.

21. Must attend scheduled education classes from start to finish.

22. Must complete and keep current medical questionnaire forms on all guests.

23. Maintain current license necessary to position at all times.

24. Perform and follow up on all other duties assigned by supervisor, manager, or Fitness Director.
