Under the direction of the Theater Operations Supervisors, the Usher works to proactively interact with guests in providing information and assistance on all things related to the guest having an enjoyable experience at the Theater. Ushers help to ensure safety, help to maintain the cleanliness of the venue and engage with guests to assist with their needs before, during and after events.
Under the direction of Transportation Management, the Traffic Control Specialist is responsible for directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic and transporting passengers via non-commercial vehicles. The Traffic Control Specialist is also responsible for assisting leadership with the day-to-day shift operations of the Transportation department to ensure seamless best in class service.
Under the direction of the VIP Services Director, the VIP Services Shift Manager is responsible for the overall supervision of the department’s frontline staff and their responsibilities pertaining to exceptional guest service, hotel and restaurant reservations, support for the Player Development staff, and reaching and/or exceeding Department goals. The VIP Services Shift Manager oversees the training of Supervisors, as well as provides constant feedback, consultation and guidance to Supervisors to ensure efficiency and productivity. They also assist and direct Supervisors in the overall operation of the department including, planning and monitoring of all VIP Services activities that compliment enterprise goals while driving exceptional service standards.
Under the direction of the Beverage Manager, the Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the efficient scheduling and oversight of subordinate employees to continuously improve the quantity and quality of work done up to our Yaamava’ Brand Standards and to ensure efficient and economical work operations. Area of responsibility is the beverage areas and assigned bars. Supervisory functions include a range of duties and responsibilities for planning, organizing, training, audits, and dealing effectively with employee-management concerns.
Under the direction of the Banquet Manager, the Assistant Banquet Manager supports in providing strategic leadership, guidance, and direction for banquet services inclusive of internal and external events. This position ensures guest and team member satisfaction while maintaining service excellence in alignment with Food & Beverage department standards and initiatives. The Assistant Banquet Manager oversees banquet team members as needed to ensure banquet events are executed successfully.
Under the direction of Player Development Management, the Casino Host is responsible for providing premium level guests with the best possible experience. The Casino Host builds premium guest loyalty using sales and marketing techniques that foster an exclusive guest relationship and generate gaming revenue as determined by management. Under the direction of the Cage Operations Manager, the Relief Manager of Cage Operations is responsible for the operation of all cage activities in the absence of the Cage Operations Manager including providing guidance to Supervisors, and frontline team members. This role collaborates with other departments to ensure that team members and guests receive a best-in-class experience. The Relief Manager of Cage Operations is accountable for all duties performed within the department to ensure that Yaamava’ Resort & Casino policies, practices, and Tribal Gaming Regulations are met.
Under the direction of the Table Games Shift Manager, the Table Games Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activity of all table games, ensuring the gaming activity and dealing procedures comply with table games policies and procedures. The Table Games Floor Supervisor may conduct a variety of casino games along with providing prompt and courteous service to all gaming patrons.
Reporting to the Pool Service Supervisor, the Pool Service Specialist is responsible for creating authentic and memorable experiences for every guest at the pool and spa. This position graciously provides towels, amenities, seating options and has exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items available to the guests. Under the direction of Director Player Development the Player Development Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the administrative duties of the department. This position will provide administrative and analytical support for player development by creating schedules, reports and analyses. The Player Development Coordinator will monitor the budget for comps and expenses in addition to analyzing the overall success or failure of player development events and promotions. The Player Development Coordinator may also be required, with the assistance of leadership, to support the player development team working on the casino floor, promotional events, off-sites, and theater events.

Under the direction of the Slot Relief Floor Manager, the Slot Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating resources on the floor to ensure the highest quality service is provided to guests. The Slot Floor Supervisor promotes internal and external guest satisfaction during an assigned shift, by ensuring excellent service in their area of responsibility, coordinating department resources and partnering with other departments. The Slot Floor Supervisor provides timely and effective resolution to guest complaints and routinely observes and evaluates staff service standards.
Under the direction of the Floral Manager, the Lead Gardener, Horticulture & Floral oversees floral designs, assigns duties, and manages work flow in the floral department. The individual selected for this role is responsible for overseeing all interior plants and living wall on property, in addition to the upkeep of outdoor gardens and plants, in addition to leading a talented design team. The Lead Gardener provides creative and artistic guidance on projects to ensure consistent maintenance and floral beautification throughout the property by maintaining, watering, pruning, and dusting synthetic plants. Responsible for working on assignments independently if required. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, procedures, and guidelines. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, the Lead Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for the functional supervision of a team of attendants inclusive of providing training, monitoring, and assisting with operational issues. The Lead Food Attendant provides direction and support to team members while ensuring excellent customer service in alignment with Forbes Travel Guide standards. This position serves as a team player while greeting guests, coordinates seating needs, maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas, as well as supporting the culinary team on food serving stations. Under the direction of the Manager, PBX-Guest Retention, the Supervisor, PBX, supports the PBX team as they provide excellent service to guests in a high-volume call center environment. The Supervisor ensures that all interactions are consistent with property policies and procedures and serves as an escalation point for calls while upholding the Forbes service standards.
Under the direction of the Director of Player Development, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for handling and monitoring all administrative functions related to the smooth functionality of the Player Development offices. Those duties will include scheduling, office communications, entering contracts, entering all purchases for the department into Lawson, tracking purchases and contracts, receiving and documenting incoming mail, answering and directing incoming phone calls, and assisting with the schedules of the Director of Player Development.
Under the direction of Bell Captain, the Door Person serves as a professional and knowledgeable representative of the hotel to all internal and external guests, ensuring the highest customer service standards of the Hotel brand are upheld at all times. The Door Person holds responsibility for welcoming all guests by opening the lobby doors as well as providing a fond farewell to all guests. This position ensures the guests’ arrival and departure experience is seamless.
Under the direction of the Hotel Front Desk Supervisor, the Front Desk Associate is responsible for administering Front Desk operations in the Hotel's continuing effort to deliver Best in Class customer service. The Front Desk Associate assists with guest inquiries, requests and needs, prior to, during, and after their stay. The Front Desk Associate works closely with all Hotel departments to coordinate seamless delivery of guest services. This highly visible position is responsible for creating unique memories, building rapport, and maintaining professional relationships with guests to enhance their overall experience, all while following and meeting the Forbes Travel Five Star guidelines.
Under the direction of the Vice President of Property Marketing, the Director of Property Marketing will oversee the direction and execution of property advertising, media strategies, PR, social media, and media analytics in coordination with Marketing Shared Services. This position will also oversee Multimedia and digital content creation for the property. Direct reports include Property Marketing Manager and Multimedia Manager.
Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Room Attendant is responsible for providing cleaning service for all vacant and occupied rooms. Responsible to provide and maintain 5-Star, 5- Diamond rating experience according to our Forbes standards. The Room Attendant also collaborates, initiates, and supports opportunities with other functions by championing the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that faithfully reflects and upholds the Tribes vision, mission and values.
Under the direction of the Slot Technical Supervisor, the Slot Parts Controller provides administrative and technical support to the Slot Department. The Slot Parts Controller establishes and maintains positive relationships with slot machine and gaming vendors while managing inventory and service calls efficiently and effectively for Department needs.
The Food Runner offers aide to the Servers by expediting food tickets and ensuring the delivery of high quality food items to the appropriate table and guests. Assisting in providing a superior guest experience, the Food Runner observes tables to communicate to the Food Server Assistant, those guests whom are nearing completion of a course in order to initiate preparation and service of next course in a timely manner.
Under the guidance of the Assistant Manager of EVS, the Supervisor of EVS (Environmental Services) is responsible for maintaining the health and safety standards for Yaamava' Resort and Casino. This position provides guidance and daily directives to EVS team members. The Supervisor of EVS is responsible for leading and managing their team to complete all goals and missions set forth by the Casino and the EVS Department, ensuring a best in class culture for maintenance of the facility.
Under the direction of Transportation Management, the Transportation Lead is responsible for delegated duties assigned by department Management. They are responsible for assisting Shift Supervisors supervising the day-to-day shift operations of the Transportation department including: ensuring the essential functions of the department are maintained, communicating service issues, safety concerns, training department staff through coaching, mentoring, and leading, while focusing on guest retention.
Under the direction of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef, the Sous Chef plans and supervises the overall daily operation of their assigned kitchen; supporting a specific venue or areas of operation. The Sous Chef schedules, supervises, coordinates, trains and participates in all activities of Cooks and other reporting kitchen personnel. They are responsible for planning, preparing and cooking foods for all menus for a multitude of occasions, including special functions and holidays. Working with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef, the Sous Chef establishes menu forecasts based on customer counts or business forecasts, previous experience, dates and holidays, while maintaining team adherence to all health and safety regulations and applicable San Manuel policies and procedures. The Lead Food Server is responsible for the functional supervision of a team of Food Servers providing training, monitoring, and assistance with operational issues. The Lead Food Server holds responsibility for maintaining a thorough knowledge of Yaamava’ service standards inclusive of Forbes 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond expectations and acumen. This position will train, educate, and continuously uphold these standards while carrying themselves with a professional demeanor at all times. This position is primarily mobile, proactively visiting food stations and guests, providing direction and support to team members and ensuring excellent customer service.
Under the guidance of the HVAC Supervisor, the HVAC Mechanic II performs as a journey level HVAC Mechanic; a fully qualified working-level trade mechanic. This position performs skilled installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems. The HVAC Mechanic II is highly knowledgeable and experience with chilled water loop systems utilizing centrifugal chillers, absorption chillers, chilled/condenser water pumps, air handling units and cooling towers. Additionally, they have experience with the operation and repair of air compressors, heat exchangers, hot water boilers, and the building automation system. The HVAC Mechanic II works independently as well as in team environments, and always upholds a high level of service standards and health and safety compliance to ensure they are providing a best in class experience to guests and team members.
Under the direction of the Table Games Supervisor, the Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing a variety of casino table games in strict accordance with the rules of the respective games and the Table Games Department policies and procedures. The Table Games Dealer also plays an important role in providing highly professional customer service while interacting with Yaamava’ Resort & Casino patrons.
Reporting to the Salon Supervisor, the Nail Technician exhibits best in class nail and beauty services including, but not limited to knowledge of nail care services, and art techniques. The Nail Technician is responsible for operational excellence, superior product/service knowledge as well as ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests, team members and vendors, while safeguarding enterprise assets and guaranteeing departmental integrity. The Nail Technician is also responsible for delivering the ultimate beauty experience to every guest, at all times, by providing nail-care services that exceed guest expectations.
Under the Fulfillment Supervisor, the Equipment Coordinator will inventory, manage, fix, and maintain equipment up to standard to meet the Department of Guest Services' needs. The incumbent will plan daily duties, monitor, and evaluate inventory to ensure equipment is in good working order, relocate equipment, and quarterly assessments. The individual in this role will execute tactics to remain consistent with communicating the status of all equipment to all levels of management. This includes planning and preparing equipment readiness to support large events, communicating with security personnel, mapping equipment locations, and escalating challenges that may affect the success of an event.
Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Video Lead guides the installations of all video related production needs of the Event Center. This position supports production management in leading trainings and enforcing standards and procedures, and relaying communication within the production team. This role serves as the contact for any video/network production questions and serves as an expert for identifying possible problems within internal systems and ensuring proper trouble shooting. This individual holds responsibility for both programming as well as operating video equipment as needed, and will be able to quickly adapt or alter video programing situations based on events or performer needs.
Under the direction of the HVAC Supervisor, the HVAC Mechanic is responsible for performing a variety of standard to moderately complex technical tasks related to installing, maintaining and repairing heating, cooling and ventilation systems across the enterprise.
Under the direction of the Centralized Scheduling Supervisor, the Centralized Scheduling Planner is responsible for setting employee schedules for assigned departments in order to meet anticipated demands. The Centralized Scheduling Planner liaises with designated department managers across the enterprise to ensure schedules are accommodating for adequate business volume coverage.
Under the direction of the Box Office Manager, the Box Office Ticket Representative holds responsibility for the complete ticketing process inclusive of selling, issuing, and receipt of tickets during events within the Yaamava’ Theater at Yaamava’ Resort and Casino. This position ensures an exceptional guest experience at all times while serving as a resource and a first point of contact for all events. The Box Office Ticket Representative maintains a friendly and professional demeanor while providing assistance as needed for all ticketing functions, inclusive of answering questions, handling guest complaints and resolving issues that arise.
Under the direction of the Direct Marketing Supervisor, the Direct Marketing Specialist is responsible for generating revenue via focusing on the high-level players that are in the Player Development and VIP segments using multiple channels like direct mail and email. This position shall optimize campaign effectiveness by tracking and analyzing direct marketing programs. The incumbent also performs research and analysis-finding opportunities to grow our database.
Under the direction of the Promotions and Special Events Manager, the Promotions/Special Events Coordinator is responsible for assisting with developing, creating, and executing promotions and events for Yaamava’ Resort & Casino held both on and off-site. The Promotions/Special Events Coordinator is responsible for making operational decisions during events, monitoring the budget, and analyzing the overall success or failure of said events. It is critical that this person has the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, has a creative vision, and is organized.
Under the direction of the Food & Beverage Supervisor, the Bar Back provides assistance to Bartenders which enables them to focus on providing premier guest service to patrons. By partnering with team members in operational processes, and helping to greet patrons and keep the bars clean and stocked, the Bar Back allows Bartenders and Cocktail Servers to operate more efficiently in their respective roles.
Reporting to the Cage Operations Supervisor, the Cage Operations Technician performs preventative maintenance and is responsible for troubleshooting on multi-functional kiosks, ATM machines, currency counters, bank issues, money carts, cabinets and other various equipment.
Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Training Specialist is responsible for the administration, coordination, and execution of training for Housekeeping. The Housekeeping Training Specialist conducts new hire hands-on training for front line team members as well as other assigned trainings for all levels of team members. This position ensures existing team members are up-to-date on guidelines, policies, procedures, Standard Operating Guidelines, work methods, and new product training. The Housekeeping Training Specialist also works with the Hotel Safety Specialist to train all aspects of health and safety compliance, as well as how to achieve a high level of customer service to maintain best in class service according to brand standards.

The Lead Steward is primarily responsible for assisting in the cleanliness of the kitchen, service pantry, silver, china and glassware. The Lead Steward operates in representation of the Stewarding team’s best in class culture, while championing the goals and priorities of the Tribe in a manner that reflects and upholds the Tribal Community’s vision, mission and values.
The Senior Cashier is responsible for the training of frontline Cashiers on all Cage windows. Senior Cashiers are responsible for evaluating the progress of all new hires during their training period. Senior Cashiers are responsible for promoting growth in the fields of customer service, inter-department relations, and departmental relations for all Cashiers. Under the direction of the Cage Operations Supervisor, the Senior Cashier is responsible for the overall smooth operation and training of the Cage and Cage Support area. They assist in ensuring all policies and procedures governed by the Gaming Commission’s Regulations (GCR’s) are implemented, enforced and adhered to. In addition, they ensure the San Manuel Entertainment Authority is in compliance with the Title-31 Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and the Patriot Act as it pertains to Tribal Casinos.The Senior Cashier, in collaboration with the Cage Operations Supervisor, complies with federal and state tax laws, as they pertain to tax withholding and information reporting on Forms W-2G, 1099MISC (W-9) and 1042S for patron wins and prizes paid.
Under the direction of the Food & Beverage Supervisor, the Cocktail Server provides timely, accurate and responsible cocktail service and complimentary soft drink service to all Yaamava’ guests. While adhereing to the Yaamava’ Brand Standards, the Cocktail Servers provide beverage service during daily floor operations, as well as for special events. Areas of beverage service include slot and table games locations, and other Casino areas of operation as assigned.
Reporting to the Salon & Concierge Manager, the Spa Concierge Supervisor provides leadership, direction and supervision of their team in the daily operations of the Hotel’s health and wellness operations, including, but not limited to, Spa reservations/concierge, guest experience, fitness, wellness, Spa retail and Spa facilities upkeep. This leader works closely with upper management to direct and mentor their team, optimize merchandise and service selections while maximizing Best in Class service, resulting in continued sales profit. Under the direction of the Executive Pastry Chef, the Assistant Executive Pastry Chef will direct, assist, and train all sous chefs, lead bakers, and bakers in the production and preparation of baked products, baking methods, and ingredients as set by Food & Beverage/Culinary Management teams. The assistant executive pastry chef is responsible for the quality and final product for the guest (venue). They will maintain all food, equipment, and kitchens to set health codes and casino standards maintain a positive, team-oriented, and accommodating attitude toward guests (internal and external), fellow team members, and management.
Under the direction of the Guest Services Supervisor, the Fulfillment Associate supports coordination efforts of all operational aspects for special promotions and events to include but not limited to staging and product distribution. The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for delivering safe and elevated service to ensure a Best in Class guest experience.
Under the direction of the Supervisor Housekeeping, the House Person is responsible for maintaining 5-Star, 5-Diamond rating experience for the overall cleanliness of all public areas in guest view on the guest floors and heart of house areas. Under the direction of the Supervisor, Audio Visual, VIBE, the Audio Visual (A/V) Technician, VIBE provides in-depth technical programming and support for atmospheric based audio visual (A/V) systems. The A/V Technician, Vibe provides necessary training and continuous operational support while managing the day to day requests of the VIBE team. This position will be responsible for executing the direction of the VIBE Supervisor in the programming of atmospheric initiatives including the rotational sports programming of The 909. In conjunction with Marketing, delivers motion graphics/video projects adhering to Enterprise branding guidelines to enhance our guest entertainment experience. The Baker will maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure the proper usage of the pastry kitchen tools and equipment.

The Reservations Agent is the “voice” of the Hotel and the first impression for guests. Under the direction of the Table Games Shift Manager, the Dual Rate Employee will be working some shifts as a Table Games Dealer and other shifts as a Table Games Floor Supervisor. The Table Games Dealer is responsible for dealing a variety of casino table games in strict accordance with the rules of the respective games and the Table Games Department policies and procedures. Disburses cold boxes at all machines that are scheduled to be dropped per zone. Removes hot boxes from slot machines and ensures that all hot boxes are secured and accounted for. The Drop & Count Staff opens and sorts the contents of the table games, CDU, ATM and gaming machine drop boxes, which consists of counting currency and chips removed from the drop boxes and recording and accounting for the currency and chips. In addition, the Drop & Count Staff member accurately follows all policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance with the Gaming Commission’s Tribal Gaming Minimum Internal Controls (TICS) and the Gaming Commission Regulations (GCR), by studying the standards, adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
