Work in a fast paced environment, where you will provide hospitality service. Benefits as medical, and dental, will be optional after 60 days of employment. 401k benefits are optional to you after 1 year of employment.
Compensation: $15 per hour, Full-Time
JOB SUMMARY:
The parking attendant mans the parking booth, and is the first person the guest meets upon arrival. This person must be cordial, professional and welcoming. The position requires many hours standing, operating the ticket machine, running credit cards, speaking to guests, giving directions and maximizing revenues. The attendant must make judgment calls, deal with visitors in stressful situations while still maintaining a professional demeanor. He or she must evaluate the availability of parking spaces, making sure enough open spaces are held for arriving guests. Responsible for daily bank and proper accounting of daily work. Must be able to sit or stand for duration of shift.
WORK PERFORMED:
· Monitor incoming traffic as to guest or public, maximizing available space for guests.
· Complete daily log of revenue, lost tickets and all public charges.
· Communicate with bell staff and/or Front Desk on current occupancy levels closing garage as needed to the public to assure incoming guests have available space.
· Insure bank is kept at proper levels at shift change.
· Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
· Maintain professional and attentive attitude at all times.
