Interactive Graphic Designer
Full-Time
*This is an on-site position in Highland, CA*Under the direction of the Interactive Graphic Manager, the Interactive Graphic Designer assists in conceptualizing and developing appropriate design solutions for specific interactive projects. This position guides approved interactive graphic design solutions from conception to completion of the finished product. In addition, the Interactive Graphic Designer oversees the design and production of art and copy layouts for material to be presented by other visual communication media.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provides support with interactive communication platforms on property, including but not limited to, LED pillars and signs, kiosks, TV screens, in-venue digital displays, exterior LEDs, elevator screens, hotel in-room TVs, back of house TVs, etc.
2. Produces digital placement on TV screens and LED “eye candy” screens around property.
3. Creates visual concepts and design (animated or static) to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers.
4. Conceptualizes and creates intuitive, engaging and brand consistent user interfaces, taking into consideration internal and external customer user differences.
5. Formats videos for entertainment venues, creates pre-show loops, and manages music videos for in-venue LEDs.
6. Adheres to brand guidelines and established procedures for creating, submitting, and uploading design files. Maintains strict filing procedures for images and/or file resources.
7. Contributes in meetings with internal Property Marketing leadership and other clients to establish media and interactive needs.
8. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of graphic design experience with focus on interactive/animation work is required.
- Equivalent combination of education and progressive, relevant, and direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational/experience requirements indicated above.
- Motion graphics/3D animation knowledge (Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, or other 3D programs) is required.
- Expert knowledge of popular graphic industry software, including but not limited to, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar programs is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in software programs, including but not limited to, Adobe After Effects and InDesign is required.
- Online (digital) and offline (print) design experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of video editing (Final Cut Pro, Premiere or AVID), Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), and Keynote presentation software is required.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations
- At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
