Delaware North is hiring an IT Application Configurations Engineer to join our team. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $79900 - $107800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities 

  • Ensure consistency with specific application systems configurations and documentation of system configurations, applications, and integrations 
  • Identify data standards and translate data standards to configuration guidelines 
  • Identify property interfaces, data requirements, systems configurations, system standards for hardware, and configurations 
  • Spearhead smooth deployment and operation of configured applications 
  • Develop and maintain configuration scripts and templates for automation of repetitive tasks 
  • Prepare documents and materials for seamless handoff to the support team 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information management, business administration, computer science, or a related field 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with strong emphasis and exposure to information security, and minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality or entertainment industry  
  • Working knowledge of enterprise systems such as point of sale, hospitality, and Microsoft Productivity Suite  
  • Strong knowledge of specific application and integrations, including Opera Cloud, Oracle SIM2, and Oracle Netsuite  
  • Experience working with APIs to automate tasks and configure applications, and configuration automation platforms such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet is a plus 
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell 
  • Experience with DevOps concepts, such as continuous integration and deployment and source code control is a plus 
  • Must be able to work 8-hour shifts 5 days a week, with evening, overnight, and weekend hours during installations
