HR Coordinator

The Opportunity 

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join the team at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. As an HR Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the Human Resources team who support a culture where our team members thrive.

This position requires working varied hours including weekends and some holidays as needed.

Responsibilities 

• Assist the HR team with the training and development of Delaware North team members.
• Support the team with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests.
• Prepare pre-employment paperwork and initiate the new hire process for incoming team members.
• Assist with onboarding and orientation.
• Maintain employee training records and ensure team members receive refresher training when required.
• Follow compliance and company regulations when working with sensitive and confidential information.

Qualifications 

• Minimum one (1) year of HR experience required; Bachelor's degree with an HR internship may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, decision-making and time management skills.
• Must be proficient in MS Office, including at least intermediate level at Excel required.
• Working knowledge of HR and employment laws is a plus.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
• Ability to work most games and events which will include varied hours, weekends, and holidays.
