Opportunity: Financial Analyst

Reporting to the Manager of Analysis & Banking, this entry level position’s primary responsibilities will include compile, review, analyze, interpret and report banking, operational, and financial data within various systems.

Essential Job Functions

• Utilize reporting tools necessary to perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks including all available technology.
• Assist in implementing new tools, reports, and technology to analyze and report data needs within banking, credit cards, and financial trends.
• Develop, maintain, and support standard reporting templates and those that support financial results.
• Provide timely feedback to management on financial analysis for individual hotels, regions, or entire portfolio as assigned by management.
• Assist with employee expense reimbursement system (Concur Solutions) including set ups, changes and report generation.
• Support Shared Services accountants while learning their responsibilities and act as primary back up.
• Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear and precise data analysis.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in accounting or finance preferred.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced skills with Excel.

Work Environment and Context 

• Required to sit for extended periods, lift up to 10 pounds, bend, reach, use hands and fingers to operate keyboard.
