Compensation: $12.30 per hour, Full-Time

Job Summary

Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking and delivery of any food and/or beverage items. This task is to be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely and professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.

  • Display, stock and rotate inventory items as needed
  • Keep front and back areas need and clean at all times
  • Greet and take care of customers
  • Be on time according to schedule

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must have basic food & sanitation knowledge
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, with weekends, holiday and nigh time availability
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests and associates
  • Abel to communicate statistical reports as required
  • Scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures
  • Able to attend required meetings
  • Able to complete projects and assignments thoroughly, professionally and with care
  • Able to manage time well with minimal supervision
  • Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development
  • Conducts him/herself (acts and dresses with complete, clean uniform) professionally at all times; sets standards for all associates

Physical Demands

  • Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds using proper lifting techniques
  • Anything over 40bls requires asking for assistance
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity, continuous standing
  • Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills
  • High school education and relevant training and experience required
  • Must have valid drivers license

Age Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
