Purchasing Analyst

The Opportunity 

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a procurement and systems analyst to support our team at Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers. 

This operations role marries the management of our procurement systems and supports our cost of goods initiatives.  Day-to-day, you will manage the unit’sProcure-to-Pay process by overseeing purchasing and receiving, addressing invoice discrepancies, and performing periodic audits of internal and vendor-related processes.  Less routinely, you will work closely with the operations and accounting teams as a key stakeholder in our inventory cycle, focusing on data entry, review, and approval of physical counts conducted by department managers.  Finally, you will partner with regional business intelligence resources to shape a portfolio of product offerings with a strong focus on COGS management, pricing strategy and inventory efficiency.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $49500 - $66800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities 

• Lead the Procure-to-Pay end-to-end process
• Oversee purchasing, resolve discrepancies, perform periodic data reviews, audit, and monitor daily purchase order and accounts payable reports
• Partner with Buffalo-based supply management team ensuring compliance and best purchasing behaviors
• Address and resolve receiving, invoice, and purchase order issues; audit invoices as requested; support the match exception and vendor add process
• Execute or assist with correcting receiving discrepancies and verifying discrepancies of drop-ship orders
• Serve as the point of contact for item creation, deletion, or tracking program maintenance 
• Run system reports as requested, assist Accounts Payable, and train new team members on BirchStreet (current procurement system)
• Serve as key stakeholder, partnering with department heads and local accounting team during periodic inventory cycles
• Create data visualizations, dashboards and reports using Tableau (plus) to communicate key performance indicators for internal and external reporting purposes
• Work with the enterprise data teams to execute analytics projects that support all cost of goods management efforts including pricing and product optimization processes and strategies.
• Provide support in the use of business intelligence, research, and industry trends to drive the brand and increase opportunities in the marketplace.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards that reflect fact-based findings and recommendations regarding the actions from analytics projects.
• Work collaboratively with other sales and marketing leaders in sharing and utilizing best practices, systems, and processes leveraging resources where appropriate.
• Collaborate with members of Delaware North Business Insights and Analytics team to identify and execute projects that drive operational efficiency and excellence
• Perform other tasks as assigned by GM for Sportservice at Lambeau Field and other assigned units.

Qualifications 

• Working knowledge of procurement systems design & function
• Function knowledge of Tableau & Excel (including pivot tables)
• Experience working with 3rd party invoice processors (preferred)
• An understanding of purchasing and payment processes and procedures
• Functional knowledge of purchasing, accounts payable, and inventory management processes
• Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, analysis, and collaboration skills
