Housekeeping Intern

As a Housekeeping Intern you will assist in Housekeeping daily operations and work with customers and Guests as part of your assigned college project to demonstrate your abilities and gain knowledge in the hospitality industry. Overall, housekeeping interns play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the establishment, contributing to a positive guest experience.

•  Interns may be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, which can involve making beds, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and replenishing amenities such as towels and toiletries.
• Interns may be involve in cleaning and maintaining common areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairways, and restrooms.
• Interns might assist with laundry tasks, such as washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens, towels, and guest clothing.
• Interns may help keep track of cleaning supplies and amenities, ensuring that they are stocked and replenished as needed.
• Interns may work alongside experienced housekeeping staff to learn proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
• Depending on the needs of the Housekeeping operations, interns might be assigned special projects such as deep cleaning tasks, organizing storage areas, or assisting with inventory audits.
• Interns may interact with guests to fulfil special requests or address any concerns regarding housekeeping services.
• Interns should follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others.
• Interns may be responsible for documenting their activities, reporting any maintenance issues or damages they encounter, and communicating any special requests or feedback from guests to the appropriate staff members.
• Interns may participate in training sessions or workshops to enhance their skills and knowledge in housekeeping practices and procedures.
