Capital Hilton is searching for a talented Food & Beverage Managerto help lead their team!

Located just blocks from the capital's best attractions, this property has 550 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This position will be supporting The Statler Lounge and In-Room Dining. 

In this role, you will assist in overseeing operations in the food and beverage outlets and will be managing a team of 10-20. This position will report to the Director of Food & Beverage. 

The ideal candidate will be an engaging leader with a passion for creating exceptional experiences, the ability to multi-task, and the desire to foster a culture of respect and positivity. Prior food and beverage leadership experience, strong beverage knowledge, and bartending background is preferred. Prior union experience is a plus. 

Shift Pattern: Full availability is required including weekends and holidays

What will I be doing?

As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage outlets to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
  • Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
