The historic Washington Hilton is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to join their property operations/maintenance team! This 1107-room property is within blocks of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan, with The White House and National Mall less than two miles away! An HVAC Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's HVAC equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Ideal candidates for this position will have hands on HVAC experience, related certifications and a passion for teamwork!

Shift Pattern: candidates should be flexible to work day, evening or overnight shifts weekdays/weekends/holidays as needed

Pay Rate: $44.58 per hour

What will I be doing?

As an HVAC Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel equipment and machinery

• Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance

• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment

• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
