Landscaper

The Opportunity 

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Landscaper to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for providing seasonal care to plants, recognize pests, parasites, and other common plant illnesses, taking appropriate control measures, and where necessary using equipment and products to maintain healthy plants.

Responsibilities 

• A valid driver’s license  with clean record and ability to safely operate vehicle in inclement weather is required. 
• Keep the grounds healthy, weed-free, raked and watered
• Prune and relocate vegetation
• Maintain parking lots, pathways, and patio free of litter

Qualifications 

• Experience using gardening equipment and experience in a similar environment
• Self-motivated and can work without direct supervision
• A valid driver’s license  with clean record and ability to safely operate vehicle in inclement weather. 
• No experience or diploma required

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, pulling, and pushing throughout shift
• Ability to withstand varying outdoor temperatures
