The Doubletree By Hilton Alana Waikiki is looking for its next Catering & Events Sales Manager! We are looking for an individuals who is passionate about event planning and hospitality and wants to offer the best experience possible for our guests. Come join a fantastic team here!
We have 10 meeting rooms, which can accommodate up to 200 guests. Our experienced staff can help with event planning, menus, and A/V equipment.
What will I be doing?
Solicit and contract with clients for the purchase of food & beverage, meeting space and ancillary services from the hotel. Executes written sales agreements for group bookings. Coordinate the prompt, courteous, and efficient "delivery" of those products to satisfy the customer's service needs and maximize the hotel's profits and future business opportunities.
Manages customer relationship through drafting, negotiation, and contracting, responding to customer inquiries, as well as organizing arrangements as they relate to social and corporate events ie, set-up and execution of events and meetings, meals and special events. Represent hotel and conducts calls with individual customers to solicit and close catering and event business. Provide direction and supervision of meeting and/or catering logistics to food & beverage, other departments and team members.
Reporting and communication with internal team in a proactive manner relative to ensure proper ordering, scheduling, forecasting, and profitability. Initiates verbal and written communication to include but not limited to banquet event orders, diagrams and invoicing with customers. Participates in internal and external meetings as needed to include resume meeting, BEO meeting department meetings operations meetings, and financial meetings. Participate in development and measurement of personal and team goals and action plan.

The annual base salary for this position will be $61K - $65K ( bonus/incentive program) based on experience. #LI-JL2
