Description

We are seeking a Marketing Account Coordinator responsible for initiating, implementing, and tracking marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced resort environment, manage multiple priorities with ease, and bring creative ideas to the table.

General Duties:

o Act as marketing liaison to resort departments as assigned (such as Spa, Racquet Sports, Community Relations, Human Resources, etc.) to meet stated objectives.

o Facilitate regular meetings with department leaders per the direction of the Director of Marketing to strategize marketing plans, gather content and assets, schedule implementation, and measure success of marketing campaigns.

o Create clear, compelling content that reflects the brand’s voice and values, and aligns with the resort’s objectives and target audience.

o Work with the Creative Design team to create and produce required deliverables within specified timeline; including but not limited to resort website, mobile app, social media, seasonal activity guides, in-room guest TV, and miscellaneous collateral.

o Assist with photography and video production to support assigned campaigns.

o Ensure proper inventory levels of promotional materials are maintained within each department.

o Work with external public relations agencies to coordinate resort media visits (accommodations, amenities, activity itineraries, etc.) and requests for content and images to support editorial requests.

o Execute established campaign plans and project timelines, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with internal teams and outside vendors to ensure projects are completed on time.

o Participate as a member of the marketing team to assist in the production and communication of resort events and promotions as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years marketing and content creation experience, preferably in the hotel/resort/guest service industry or related field.
  • Excellent language, spelling, writing, editing and proofreading skills and telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent attention to detail, a keen eye for aesthetics; capable of producing a highly polished final marketing product.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and WordPress.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, team environment with the ability to self-direct and be proactive in completing goal-oriented assignments in established time-frames.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
  • Adhere to all written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job.
