About Us

Located in the heart of downtown Cleveland, the historic Hotel Cleveland, a Marriott Autograph Collection property, offers 491 newly renovated guest rooms and exceptional service. We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Floor Attendant to support our housekeeping team and ensure our floors are clean, organized, and ready to welcome guests.

Position Summary

The Houseperson plays a key role in assisting the housekeeping department by delivering supplies, removing soiled linens, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways, service areas, and storage closets. This position ensures housekeepers have the materials they need to efficiently clean rooms, while also keeping guest areas safe and tidy.

Essential Job Functions

  • Deliver fresh linens, towels, and guest amenities to housekeepers as needed.

  • Remove trash, recycling, and soiled linens from guest floors to designated areas.

  • Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, and service closets.

  • Restock housekeeping carts and storage rooms with supplies.

  • Assist housekeepers with room preparation during high-volume periods.

  • Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.

  • Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.

  • Provide courteous assistance to guests when approached with requests.

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality or housekeeping support experience preferred, but not required – training provided.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.

  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weights and be on your feet for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.

  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
