Position SummaryThe Pool Server delivers warm, attentive, and efficient food and beverage service to guests enjoying the pool deck and event lawn. This role blends elevated service standards with a relaxed, vibrant outdoor atmosphere, ensuring every guest feels cared for from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and warmly; establish rapport and anticipate needs
- Present menus, explain offerings, and make thoughtful food & beverage recommendations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively address service needs or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service stations
- Follow all responsible alcohol service and safety guidelines
- Support pool deck events and peak-volume periods with flexibility and teamwork
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred (hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in warm weather for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
