The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the hotel’s kitchen operations. This position is responsible for ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored—supporting the culinary team in delivering an exceptional dining experience that meets luxury standards.

Cleaning & Sanitation
Operate dishwashing machines to clean plates, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen, and back-of-house spaces.
Follow all sanitation and safety procedures, including proper chemical handling.
Ensure all wares meet brand and health department cleanliness standards.
Support & Teamwork
Assist kitchen and stewarding teams with setup and breakdown of banquet and restaurant operations.
Transport and store clean items to appropriate areas in the kitchen and service stations.
Assist with trash removal, recycling, and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
Communicate any maintenance or equipment issues promptly to the supervisor.
Efficiency & Standards
Work quickly and efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
Support the culinary team with daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Uphold the hotel’s luxury brand image through professionalism and cleanliness at all times.
Previous experience as a dishwasher or steward in a hotel, resort, or fine dining environment preferred.
Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working in hot and humid kitchen environments.
