Concentration in hospitality, sales, communications or recreation. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests, and co-workers.Training & ExperienceExperience in sales, relationship management, membership associations and/or fundraising. Knowledge of social etiquette, High-energy, outgoing personality and self-starter. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong technical literacy skills include Microsoft Word, Excel, website management and social media. Team player able to foster relationships with Members, guests and fellow employees.

Job SummaryThe primary duties of the Surf Club Coordinatorare to uphold the integrity of the PVIC membership through guest tracking, policy enforcement, process creation, expert property knowledge, coordination of daily member operations including special events, This role will report to the Surf Club Manager and Director.

Physical AbilitiesMust be able to stand, sit for extended hours and provide tours of the Surf Club, highlighting specific points of interest.

Job Requirements

This role interacts with members and guests in a positive, courteous and professional manner in person, via email and by telephone.

Processes, tracks and facilitates all member guest activity at the Surf Club and Fitness Center.

Distribute bracelets to guests of members

Manages and communicates website/ app inquiries

Assists with inputting and updating notes in membership accounts

Assists each recreational outlet manager to develop new ideas and activities for the Members based off their expressed interests upon enrollment

Weekly meetings with leaders of the Surf Club and Membership to discuss property updates.

Maintain confidentiality of all Member and Guest information

Handling organization of app updates, general administrative and clerical support

Responsible for capturing photos of daily events surrounding daily operations

Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Surf Club

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends and holidays.

Present during the Club’s business hours and events to assist with greeting of Members

Arrive at work on time. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.

Upon entering the property, they arrive in proper attire, crisp, clean and in good repair that is aligned with Forbes grooming and appearance standards.

Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.

Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.

Proficient knowledge of programs such as Jonas, Adaco, Knowcross, Wrike, Pacesetter, Microsoft Office applications, Canva, etc.

Assist in the creation and refinement of processes for all departments under the Surf Club umbrella that support our membership and guests, including but not limited to: Fitness Center, Children’s Programming, Beach Reception and Beach Rentals.

Proficient knowledge all jobs under the Surf Club umbrella, with the ability to step into the operation under special circumstances.

Train current and new team members in Surf Club policies and processes.
