Sales Manager - Hyatt Regency Milwaukee Downtown
We’re looking for a Sales Manager who’s ready to go out and get it – someone who thrives on making connections, building trust, and turning a handshake into a signed contract.
You’ll own and grow corporate and government group business, bringing in new accounts, strengthening relationships, and creating experiences that make clients say, “This is exactly where we want to be.”
If you’re competitive, creative, and the kind of person who would rather be out meeting clients than refreshing your inbox, keep reading.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Getting out into the market – outside sales calls, networking, prospecting, and building real relationships
- Identifying and securing new corporate and government group business (and turning those wins into repeat clients)
- Owning your goals and consistently delivering on revenue and activity targets
- Creating memorable, tailored site tours that don’t feel scripted, because no two clients are the same
- Keeping a pulse on the market – what’s trending, who’s booking, and where the next opportunity is coming from
- Showing up in the community and industry circles as a true ambassador for the hotel
- Partnering with our team to make sure every piece of business is executed seamlessly
- Contributing to sales blitzes, events, and creative campaigns that fuel our fresh, competitive edge
What Makes You a Fit
- You’re a natural connector – you know how to start conversations and turn them into booked business
- You’re proactive (you don’t wait – you go)
- You’re comfortable presenting, negotiating, and confidently closing
- You can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- You bring energy, personality, and a team-first mindset
- You’re organized, driven, and know how to follow through
- Hotel sales experience is a plus, but attitude and hustle matter just as much
- Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Why This Team
- You’ll be part of a team that actually likes working together
- Creativity isn’t a buzzword here – we customize experiences, rethink the standard, and win business because of it
- You’ll represent a hotel that’s a true player in the Milwaukee market, directly connected as a headquarters hotel to the Baird Center
- You’ll have the space to build your own success with leadership that supports you
The Bottom Line
If you want a role where:
- Your effort directly drives your success
- Your personality is an asset, not something to tone down
- And your work actually feels exciting
You’re going to like it here.
