Guest Service Agent

Position Overview
Hotel Talent New York City is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Part-Time Front Desk Agent to join our team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences and serving as the first point of contact for visitors. The ideal candidate brings professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail to every interaction, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner, both in person and over the phone
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with a solutions-oriented approach
• Process payments, including cash and credit card transactions, with accuracy
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Uphold company service standards and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications

• Previous guest service or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and hotel software is a plus
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs as needed

Schedule

• Part-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Compensation

• Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications
