Su foco de atencin
  • Saludar inmediatamente a los huspedes y ofrecer ayuda con sus necesidades.
  • Registrar a los huspedes y asignarles habitaciones.
  • Establecer mtodos de pago y verificar el crdito.
  • Realizar y confirmar reservas.
  • Calcular facturas, cobrar pagos y dar cambio a los huspedes.
  • Transmitir y recibir mensajes, utilizando telfonos o el sistema PMS.
  • Responder las solicitudes de los huspedes de manera oportuna.
  • Recibir y resolver las quejas de los huspedes, elevndolas al supervisor si fuese necesario.
  • Asegurar los objetos de valor de los huspedes en la caja fuerte del hotel o en las cajas de seguridad, si no estn disponibles en las habitaciones de los huspedes.
  • Realizar actividades de contabilidad, tales como balancear cuentas y llevar a cabo auditoras.
  • Tener en cuenta los puntajes de satisfaccin de los huspedes y trabajar para aumentar la satisfaccin general y departamental de los huspedes.
  • Practicar hbitos de trabajo seguros, usar equipo de seguridad protector y seguir los estndares MSDS y OSHA.
  • Ayudar en el rea de desayuno o ayudar a los huspedes con el equipaje cuando se requiera asistencia del personal o durante los periodos de mayor actividad.
  • Garantizar la satisfaccin general del husped.
  • Realizar otras tareas segn lo solicite la gerencia.

Sus antecedentes y habilidades

  • Se prefiere diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente.
  • Se requiere experiencia previa en atencin al cliente o capacitacin equivalente.
  • Se prefiere conocimiento de sistemas PMS.

Entorno y contexto laboral

  • El horario de trabajo vara y puede incluir trabajar en das festivos, fines de semana y turnos alternos.
  • Requiere estar de pie durante periodos prolongados, caminar, empujar, levantar hasta 25 libras, agacharse y alcanzar objetos, inclinarse, arrodillarse o ponerse en cuclillas.
