Position Overview

The Greenskeeper supports daily golf course maintenance to ensure high-quality playing conditions. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and take pride in maintaining landscapes to professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate mowers, trimmers, and other equipment to maintain greens, tees, fairways, and surrounding areas
  • Maintain bunkers, cart paths, and landscaping details to established standards
  • Perform routine course care, including cleaning debris, repairing divots, and replacing flags and towels
  • Monitor and maintain equipment, including fuel levels and basic upkeep; report issues promptly
  • Assist with course projects such as soil preparation, sod installation, and seeding
  • Follow all safety procedures and work collaboratively with the Agronomy team

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively on a team
  • Basic knowledge of landscaping or groundskeeping preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly
