The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Recreation Lead to join our team at Nova Guides in Red Cliff, Colorado. As a Recreation Lead, you will support the team at [UNIT NAME] in planning and coordinating activities for our guests.
Pay
$18.00 – $22.00 / hour

What will you do?
- Plan, organize, and deliver engaging recreation activities for guests staying at Nova Guides
- Assist and answer questions guests may have about planned activities
- Provide guidance and directions to local attractions to guests
- Follow safety procedures to ensure guests are safe and happy
- The successful applicant will be responsible for facilitating training in safety, tours, and snowmobile best practices
- Operate a company vehicle and transport guests
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Previous cash handling and point-of-sale experience required
- Basic math skills required
- Excellent computer skills required
- Ability to read and follow maps required
- Strong communication skills
- No high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for entire length of shift
- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently

Nova Guides provides ATV/UTV guided tours and rentals, winter snowmobile and snow coach guided tours and rentals, and private fly fishing and archery instruction.
