Responsibilities: 

• Cleaning and arranging guest rooms to standard
• Making beds
• Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies
• Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them
• Scrubbing and sanitizing showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats, and rugs
• Reporting breakages, damages, and safety issues for repairs
• Preparing Turndown for Guests

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a hotel setting or in a similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays - Mid and PM shifts 
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluently - will have to communicate with Guests
• Must be able to utilize a device for electronic assignments

Compensation

The anticipated compensation range for this position in NYC is $25.00 per hour. The exact hourly rate offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including years of experience in the job and industry, education, and others.
