Position Summary

Cap Rock Cabana is seeking an energetic and service-focused Restaurant Server to join our team. In this role, you will provide attentive, professional service while creating a memorable dining experience for resort members and guests. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, demonstrates strong communication skills, and is committed to delivering excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service to all guests.
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, daily features, and beverage offerings.
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service throughout the dining experience.
  • Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams regarding orders, special requests, and dietary needs.
  • Prepare and maintain service stations, dining areas, and equipment to established standards.
  • Assist with table maintenance, bussing, and overall restaurant cleanliness.
  • Follow resort service standards, cash handling procedures, and applicable Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Complete required side work and shift documentation.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant serving experience required; resort, club, or upscale dining experience preferred.
  • Strong guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Team-oriented mindset and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Current TABC Certification required.
  • Current Food Handler Certification required.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.
