We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Leisure Sales Manager to join our team and grow luxury leisure business for Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and The Lodge & Club.The Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for generating leisure room revenue through the development and management of relationships with luxury travel advisors, travel agencies, consortia, preferred partner networks, wholesale and FIT partners, and other key travel industry accounts. This position represents the resorts within the luxury travel community while developing new business, strengthening existing partnerships, and collaborating with resort departments to deliver exceptional experiences for our travel partners and their guests.

Qualifications

• College degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of luxury hotel, resort, leisure sales, or luxury travel industry experience preferred.
• Previous experience working with luxury travel advisors, travel agencies, consortia, preferred partner programs, wholesale/FIT accounts, or similar leisure distribution channels strongly preferred.
• Established relationships within the luxury travel advisor community preferred.
• Proven ability to develop new business, manage strategic accounts, build relationships, and achieve established revenue goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to evaluate account production, booking trends, and revenue opportunities.
• Experience with computer programs, Delphi, Salesforce CRM, or similar sales management systems preferred.
• Understanding of GDS, travel agency, consortia, and wholesale/FIT distribution channels preferred.
• Ability to travel for client meetings, agency visits, sales missions, tradeshows, networking events, and other business development activities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative sales and resort environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, solicit, and secure luxury leisure business for Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and The Lodge & Club while maximizing room revenue, average daily rate, length of stay, and overall resort revenue opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, agency owners, consortia, preferred partner networks, wholesale/FIT partners, tour operators, and other travel industry accounts.
• Proactively identify and develop new leisure accounts and business opportunities through sales calls, agency visits, direct outreach, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Manage assigned leisure accounts and maintain consistent, personalized communication designed to increase awareness, strengthen relationships, and grow production.
• Conduct in-person and virtual presentations, agency trainings, webinars, and product updates to educate travel partners on resort accommodations, amenities, experiences, promotions, and destination offerings.
• Represent Ponte Vedra Beach Resorts at luxury travel tradeshows, conferences, roadshows, sales missions, networking events, and other travel industry functions.
• Coordinate and host familiarization trips, site inspections, advisor visits, and other opportunities that showcase the resorts and strengthen travel partner relationships.
• Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale and FIT partners, supporting appropriate agreements, promotions, training, and account development initiatives.
• Review travel advisor, consortia, wholesale, and leisure account production regularly to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and strategies to increase market share.
• Partner closely with Revenue Management to support leisure pricing strategies, promotions, packages, need periods, account opportunities, and overall transient revenue objectives.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support travel partner communications, promotions, campaigns, sales materials, and other initiatives designed to increase awareness and leisure demand.
• Work closely with Reservations and resort operations to ensure travel advisor bookings, VIP guests, special occasions, amenities, preferences, and partner commitments are accurately communicated and executed.
• Ensure resort information, promotions, offers, and applicable program details are accurately represented within travel partner and preferred program channels.
• Maintain accurate and complete account profiles, sales activities, correspondence, production, and business development efforts within Delphi/Salesforce CRM and other departmental systems.
• Monitor luxury leisure travel trends, competitor activity, emerging agencies, feeder markets, and new partnership opportunities that may generate incremental business.
• Consistently meet or exceed established quarterly and annual leisure room revenue, production, and sales activity goals.
• Build strong working relationships with Revenue Management, Reservations, Marketing, Front Office, Guest Services, Concierge, Spa, Food & Beverage, and other resort departments to support the luxury guest experience.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sales.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 pounds.

Schedule

• Full-Time Position.
• Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional extended hours based on business needs, client schedules, and industry events.
• Travel is required for agency visits, client meetings, sales calls, tradeshows, roadshows, sales missions, networking events, familiarization trips, and other business development activities.
